Should the bride and grooms parents sit at the same table?
Seating arrangements are completely up to the couple and vary based on the situation. Traditionally the bride and groom’s parents sit together, although this isn’t always the case. Some parents may prefer to sit with their other children and close friends resulting in two separate parent tables. There’s also the likely occurrence that one or both set of parents are divorced and remarried or don’t get along with the other. In this case you might have two parent tables just for one set, or four parent tables altogether. The most important thing to think about when doing the seating arrangements is making sure that all your guests feel comfortable with the people they’re sitting next to. And if you’re not sure what to do, why not try asking them where they prefer to sit.
