Should guests be allowed to bring their husbands or children?
If you want to throw a traditional shower then husbands and young children are generally not invited. Although, the ultimate decision should be up to the Mommy-to-be whether she wants the shower to be just girlfriends and female family members or if she wants guests to bring their husbands and children as well. The downside of allowing guests to bring their spouses and children is the evident increase in budget and the added stress of catering to small children. The upside is that some people will feel less left out and it may be easier for guests to attend if they can bring their children along.
