Most brides who have done this will tell you that it’s not a good idea to head straight to the honeymoon after your wedding night. You and your new husband will be so wiped out from the wedding you won’t want to do a thing, especially head through an airport security line with a bunch of heavy luggage. The best time to go on your honeymoon is a week after your wedding day. This way you have an entire week to handle any business you couldn’t tend to before the wedding, pay all your wedding vendors, spend some more time with out of town guests, and most of all rest and refresh yourself for your amazing vacation. Handle everything before you go so you won’t have to stress even the slightest on your honeymoon.
