How should we line up the wedding party?
There are no set restrictions, varying for different cultures and religions, but typically the people who are the closest to the couple (i.e. Mom, dad, brothers and sisters, maid of honor, best man) stand closest to the couple at the altar with the bride’s family one side and the groom’s on the other. The line then goes down in descending order with bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other relatives on the edge. Some couples choose to line up by height because it is more symmetrical or aesthetically pleasing in photos. We’d suggest taking height and importance into account to create the prefect wedding party lineup.
