The price of wedding gowns can very dramatically from a low of $200 up to $5000+, with the American average being roughly $1500. However, it’s my understanding that if you are willing to spend $500-$1000 on a dress, you will without a doubt find a gorgeous gown for your wedding. However, it’s important you realize all of the additional costs. First there are the dress alterations which can cost up to another few hundred dollars. Then you have to purchase any additional items including undergarments and a veil. No matter what you choose, remember that you want a dress that will make you feel like a princess, but that you don’t need to spend your entire life’s saving to achieve that.
