How far in advance should we send out the invitations?
6-8 weeks seems to be the general consensus. However if you have any out of town guests, it may be good for you to send those out earlier or to send out “Save the Date” cards up to 3-4 months in advance so out of town guests can make travel arrangements. Also understand that most people choose to order their invitations which you usually have to do 4-5 months before the event.
