How do I make sure everyone stays during the reception?
One important thing to know is that most guests will leave after the cake/desserts and coffee. If you want to ensure your guests stay long enough to hear the toasts, catch the bouquet and bust some moves, then it is best to wait to bring out the desserts until later in the night. Just the same, it is usually best to do the toasts at the beginning of the reception when people are eating dinner. This way most people will still be sitting and not too antsy to get up.
