Can I still throw the shower after the baby has been born?
Having the baby shower after the birth of the baby is not that uncommon and some mothers even prefer it. These are sometimes called a “Sip and See” in which guests come over to sip on drinks, nibble on food, and take a look at the baby. This is preferable for some new moms because it means that out of town relatives and guests don’t have to worry about making it to both the shower and the birth, and because mothers are often more comfortable after they give birth because they are no longer dealing with the uncomfortable problems that come with being pregnant.
