Should I make my bridesmaids pay for their own dresses?
Generally bridesmaids and groomsmen are expected to pay for their own wedding day attire including the dress, tux, shoes, etc. As a bride make sure to tell your bridesmaids that if they accept the offer they will most likely have to purchase their own dress. That is why it’s a good idea to pick a bridesmaid dress that is reasonably priced with your ladies in mind. If money is really tight, you might just want to let your bridesmaids pick their own dresses.
